You spend time creating a video, earn someone’s attention and ask them to visit your profile. What happens after that tap deserves as much thought as the opening seconds of your content. If visitors cannot quickly find the guide, product or channel you mentioned, the interest you worked for can disappear.

That is the angle I would take from the latest discussion about TikTok profile links: make the destination useful enough to justify the click. For creators and small businesses already using Tekmatix, a personalised link page is one practical way to do that.

What has been reported about TikTok’s profile links?

In an article published on 1 October 2026, SocialDay reports that TikTok removed its dedicated Instagram and YouTube profile link fields in November 2025, leaving a website field as the route to external destinations. The publication date and the reported change date are different.

I could not independently verify the current rollout from TikTok’s help page when preparing this post. Check the options available in your own Edit Profile screen before changing your setup. The recommendation below is useful whenever your account lets you add a clickable website link; it does not unlock that feature or bypass restrictions.

Turn your profile link into a destination with a purpose

A link page can do more than list your social accounts. It can answer three questions: who are you, what can the visitor find here, and what should they do next?

Imagine a viewer arriving after a video about writing better AI prompts. A page headed “My links” with twelve similar buttons gives them work to do. A page with your name, a short introduction and a first button labelled “Explore the AI prompt toolkit” makes the next step easier to understand.

Your YouTube channel, Instagram profile and other resources can still sit underneath. Put the destination connected to your current content first, then give visitors a small number of useful alternatives.

Why consider a personalised link page with Tekmatix?

Tekmatix lists website and funnel builders, custom domain connections, forms, CRM, email marketing and workflows among its features. Those tools can support a branded landing page that brings your links and an optional enquiry or signup route together.

This is a page you design in Tekmatix, rather than a claim that Tekmatix has a dedicated Linktree replacement feature. You choose the introduction, colours, buttons and destinations, then publish the page using its website or funnel tools.

I already use Tekmatix for custom pages, including The 9 Picks affiliate storefront. A creator link page would apply the same idea to a different job: helping someone move from a short social video to a useful resource.

If you already pay for Tekmatix, this is worth exploring within your existing setup. If you only need a few social buttons, a simple link-in-bio service may be sufficient. Consider the subscription, setup time and any usage charges before choosing a wider business platform.

What should your Linktree-style page include?

For a creator or small business, I would start with this order:

  1. Your name and a short introduction. Use a recognisable photo or logo and explain what visitors will find.
  2. One featured action. Put the resource from your latest campaign near the top, with a specific button label.
  3. A few supporting links. Add your YouTube channel, Instagram profile, main website or contact page, choosing the ones your audience needs.
  4. Selected blog posts. Include two or three articles that answer the questions your videos raise. Add a short reason to read each one.
  5. An optional signup or enquiry form. Only include it when there is a clear benefit, such as receiving a useful checklist or requesting help.

A practical Spencer Rayner version could feature the AI prompt toolkit, followed by useful marketing articles and social channels. That is a suggested layout, rather than a claim that I have built or tested a new link page for this article.

For the blog section, choose the posts that match the visitor’s interests. Someone exploring website tools might appreciate my Tekmatix review; someone promoting short videos might prefer a guide to clearer product demonstrations.

How to build your personalised link page

  1. Plan the first click. Decide which offer, resource or enquiry route matters most this week.
  2. Create a simple page. In Tekmatix’s website or funnel builder, use a single-column layout with your introduction and large, clearly labelled buttons. Custom HTML is another option if you want a bespoke design.
  3. Add direct destinations. Link to the actual article, channel or product page. Keep redirects to a minimum and remove expired offers.
  4. Choose a branded address. A short address such as links.yourdomain.co.uk can be memorable. Connect it using Tekmatix’s domain instructions and your DNS provider; exact settings depend on your setup.
  5. Add the page details. Set a useful title, description and sharing image. If you collect enquiries or subscriptions, explain what people are signing up for and link to your privacy information.
  6. Publish and test on your phone. Open every button, submit any form and check the page inside the social app’s browser before sharing it.

A domain under your control gives you an address you can point to a different provider later, although moving the design and forms may take work. Tekmatix still hosts the page, and TikTok still controls whether visitors can reach it from your profile.

Measure useful actions after the visit

Start by checking whether people reach the page and choose its featured destination. Then look at the outcome that matters: a guide download, enquiry, purchase or relevant article visit. Use analytics and campaign tags where appropriate, with the necessary tracking choices configured.

If visitors arrive but do not continue, review the match between your video and the top button. A video promising a checklist should lead to a page where that checklist is easy to find. Change one part at a time so you can understand what helped.

A custom page still adds a step before a visitor reaches another social channel. It cannot guarantee more sales or restore native Instagram and YouTube buttons. Its value is giving you room to explain your offer and organise the next step around your audience.

Explore Tekmatix if you want your link page, website and follow-up tools in one platform. Check the current plan details and decide whether the wider features fit your business.
